How to choose your perfect vest
18 july 2019
Comfort and safety come together in Jobe’s unique vest range. How to choose?
Choosing your perfect vest comes down to deciding for what purpose or watersport you want to use the vest and the corresponding level of comfort. Wakeboarding or slalom skiing demands a higher level of comfort and flexibility than laying on a tube. This corresponds to the amount of split foam panels on the vest.
Rule-of-thumb: the more split foam panels, the more flexibility, comfort and freedom of movement your vest has.
All Jobe vests have a minimum of 50N buoyancy and are ISO-certified. We also have 100N vests that are officially ISO-certified. They have even more buoyancy.
PREMIUM COMFORT
Premium comfort vests have more split foam panels than other vests. More panels mean more flexibility. Wakeboarding or slalom skiing demands a higher level of flexibility than laying on a tube.

CONSTRUCTION METHODS
Jobe vests have various construction methods. Jobe premium and full comfort vests are constructed from neoprene. This material gives the vest a fine shape and makes it feel like a hug on the water because they are so comfy. All basic comfort vests are constructed with nylon. Nylon vests are lightweight and quick dry, but a little less comfy as a premium and full comfort vest.
