SUP-talk: What to bring & wear on your SUP-tour.
21 november 2016
Put it under
A SUP-board is your best friend on an outdoor-trip. Especially because it carries your belongings for you (hello easy life). It’s even possible to make multiday trips on your board.
The magic word is the right equipment. Jobe designed its boards with your love for touring in mind. Therefore we attached some colorful bungee cords where you can stow a surprising amount of gear.
What to bring
You can bring whatever you want! From your jacket to your pillow; just put everything you need for a relaxing day under the bungee cord. Or load your board for an overnight or longer trip in the wilderness with shelter, a sleeping bag, camp stove, clothes and headlamp. Just make sure everything is packed properly in dry bags
Our essentials
Let’s talk about essentials. It might come off like a cliché but seriously, the weather is merciless sometimes. Be prepared, it’s half the job.
- Bring sunscreen and a hat.
- A
rashguard in the summer, a warm
wetsuit in the winter or a
long john for the in-between days.
- Sunglasses.
- Water. Water. Water. (to drink, of course)
- Protein rich food like a muesli-bar, eggs or just a simple cheese-sandwich can do the trick.
- GPS devices (store it in a
waterproof bag).
