Ready to charge?

After the insane success of the Jobe Nitro binding, we we’re looking for that next step in our wakeboard binding line-up. So our Product Development team has been working hard on a brand-new binding for the 2020 season!

After a summer of testing, tweaking and more testing, we can proudly introduce the Jobe Charge Wakeboard Binding! But what makes this binding different? Well let’s break it down for you:

Flex

The name says it all: this binding is made for charging! This binding has a stiffer flex pattern due to the reinforced lay-up! The result: a binding with a better response which translates your movement towards your board in an instance!

Molded Tongue

This new and improved binding comes with a Molded tongue! This makes for a sleaker and stiffer tongue and has 2 great features. The first one: this new tongue makes for an easy entry in the binding, no more stomping or bringing soap along when you want to go ride!

Second (and most importantly) is the different fit this binding gets due to the new tongue. A new tongue has a radical impact on the fit of a binding and boy are these babies comfy! The fit is improved and provides a snug fit which keeps the foot in its place, especially in combination with the J-bars which are placed in the binding. When stepping in a fresh pair of Charge bindings, you might want to screw them off your board and hit the club, they’re just that good!

Replaceable Stiffy Plates

Now this might not sounds like much but bear with us, as it’s an important one! With wakeboarding also comes the additional crash or 2….. This takes a toll on material, including your binding! Where stiffy plates on the long term tend to break and eventually fail to protect the base of your binding, we made sure you can replace these. So once your Stiffy Plates are bend and done, you can easily replace these. This makes for a long term commitment to your favorite pair of wakeboard kicks so you can make the most out of these bindings in the long term!
