Jobe has strengthened its slalom team. In the past few years Jobe signed established names such as Bojan Schipner (GER), Tim Bradstreet (AUS) en Joshua Briant (AUS). Today Jobe is very pleased to announce that they have reached a sponsor agreement with slalom skier Daniel Efverström.
Daniel is 19 years old and lives in Valbo, Sweden. Water skiing is his passion since he was born. On the age of 4 Daniel stood on his ski’s for the first time! When he became 8 he participated in his first slalom competition. In the past season Daniel won 3 golden medals in the Open Nationals, 1 golden medal in the European U21 Championships and he became 3rd in the U21 World Championships. Daniel has got a personal record of slalom skiing of 2 @ 10.75m / 58 km/ph.
Daniel will ski on the Jobe Rogue slalom ski. The Rogue ski is a high-end ski which Jobe launched last November. The ski and binding have been tested by several top ranked pro skiers around the world who have closely worked with Jobe during the development to produce this remarkable ski and binding. The result of all this effort is a unique ski that is sure to produce results. Each ski that leaves the factory is flex tested and has to withstand the highest quality.
“I would like to thank Jobe for having me in the team for 2012 and I´m really excited about that! This new high end slalom ski is working really well and I can’t wait for next year to start!” according to Daniel Efverström.
