Jobe event weekend
11 september 2013
It was a busy and successful event weekend for Jobe!
First we had the Dutch Nationals Cable wakeboarding & wakeskating on September 7 and 8 @ Seven-Twenty Cablepark, Sevenum. Jobe was sponsor of this competition and was present with a booth. There was a sneak preview of the 2014 Jobe wakeboard collection which made the riders even more enthusiastic! During the nationals, the riders competed for the conveted title as Dutch Champion. A lot of Jobe team athletes were competing and with great results! Jobe wakeboarder Sam de Haan took the Dutch Champ title and Rocco van Straten took 2nd Place, both in the Open men category. Maxine Sapulette also took a second place in the Open ladies category!
During this event, Seven-Twenty organized a sub-event called Monster Energy Night Ride which was also dominated by Jobe riders: Rocco van Straten took 1st place and Tommy Swaan ended 3rd!
Besides the Nationals, Jobe gave riders the opportunity to test the 2013 and 2014 Jobe gear at Terhills Cable Park in Belgium. This was also the case during the Mercury Days in the Netherlands on the 7th of September. Despite the bad weather, the Belgium Cable Tour (also sponsored by Jobe) trainings day at Terhills was a success. There were a lot of wakeboard and binding testers and people were stoked about the 2014 collection. During the Mercury days, all Jobe boat gear could be tested. This day also resulted in an event full of waterFUN!
On Sunday, Wake MK Summerjam took place in the UK. Jobe was main sponsor of this event and competition. It was a beautiful day with a lot of visitors and competitors. Jobe rider Chloe Goudie took 1st place and newest Jobe team member Lottie Harbottle took 2nd. Declan Clifford also took 1st place. The riders keep rocking the stage!
This weekend shows that the summer ain’t over yet! Keep enjoying the water and see you on the next Jobe events!
Cheers
