Jason Young at the British Jetski Championship!

Last weekend during the 1st round of the British Jetski Championship, Jason Young was looking to kick off the season in a similar rich vein to how he finished last season. Last season he retained his title for a record breaking 3rd year in a row.

During this championship the Jobe Sports sponsored rider showed off his new Jobe 2015 gear and his brand new Trinity hull. He had a great start of his season, with winning race one on Saturday.



Onto the Sunday Jason was hoping to continue what he had started on the Saturday race. When the lights went green it had all the bearings of the previous days race. But after lap two Jason had a massive tank slap and found himself cart wheeling numerous times after losing control of his ski. After a few moments gathering himself he got back to his race ski and re-join the race. With a battling few laps he worked his way up to the 4th spot, where he finished for race two. The last race of the weekend Jason want to make up the disappointing previous race result and was focused on gaining another win. Predictably he did just that, leading the race convincingly from start to finish and actually finishing over 1/2 a lap in front of his nearest rival.
