Austin Hair joins the Jobe Team!

With great pride the watersports brand Jobe can announce they have signed a three year contract with pro wakeboard rider Austin Hair. Austin is one of the best boat riders in the world and finished fourth in the US Pro Tour and fourth in the World Series last year. So far this season Austin has reached the finals in every competition he entered.



For Jobe the signing of Austin is the beginning of a new era. In the next few years Jobe will invest heavily in the development of wakeboards and bindings. In 2012 a completely renewed and truly astonishing wakeboard collection will be presented. One of the showpieces in that collection will be the Austin Hair Pro Model. Austin will get his own Jobe wakeboard and bindings within the Jobe collection. Furthermore Austin will also be closely involved in the development of other products in the Jobe collection.

In the past few years Jobe has been well represented in the cable park scene. With riders like Maxine Sapulette, Christian Koester, Declan Clifford and Kirsteen Mitchell Jobe’s team consists of the best cable riders in the world. The signing of a world class boat rider has therefore been a strategic choice. “We are incredibly proud to have added Austin Hair to our team.
