Kneeboarding: How to ride a Kneeboard
16 mars 2017
Kneeboarding is a fun and easy way to start your watersports adventure. These boards are wider, giving them more float and they’re pretty darn fun to ride as well! Especially our
Jobe Stage is a real crowd pleaser.
So how do you start?
First you get in the water, because these board float so well, you can easily put them underneath you and start swimming. Once you’re in position you turn the front of your kneeboard towards the boat with the handle above the water. Once the boat is starting, you just push your knees against the EVA padding. Making it easier to sit down on the kneeboard and to be pulled out of the water, while sitting down. Once you’re up, you want to make sure the strap is fastened with the belt over your knees, to keep your body in position.
Your sitting down, enjoying the view, having a good time... But now it’s time to make some turns!
Simply lean towards to your left and right to start making turns and pull the bar a little bit towards your chest. If you want to make some tighter turns, just position yourself higher so you can throw more weight in the turns.
The fun thing about a kneeboard like the
Stage is that it’s perfect to fool around with. The base is also perfect to use on obstacles and because it doesn’t have fins you can goof around, riding it backwards if you want to. The perfect kneeboard for everyone that wants to combine the ease of kneeboarding with a big fun factor!
