Jobe distributor in the Spotlight; Ski World

Jobe has distributors representing the Jobe brand all over the world. Distributors are very important for Jobe, this way we want to put our distributors in the spotlight. In this edition of the distributor in the Spotlight; Ski World (Portugal). Ski World has been representing the Jobe brand for six years now in Portugal. Read their company story:

Ski World Lda was born on the 22nd of November 2002, as a dealer and distributor for nautic sports in Portugal. The company was founded by brothers Paulo and Vitor Carvalho. Before they became a Jobe distributor they worked for another company for 10 years; Aquaventura. They were instructors and in charge of dealing and commercializing several nautical brands in Portugal.

During those 10 years, the brothers acquired various contacts and knowledge that allowed Ski World Lda to start as distributors for some of the best brands in their businesses. At the same time they already created a vast network of dealers and shops that made sure their brands were represented around the country, through a well defined North to South agents network.

Ski World Lda specializes in importing and distributing nautical products, mainly in areas such as Wakeboarding, Water Skiing, Kayaking, Paddle Surfing, and Sailing.

Besides its main business, Ski World Lda also has a strong intervention in areas such as training, event management and organization, demos, and sponsoring events and athletes, in this way contributing strongly to the development of the sports it represents.

Ski World Lda probably has the biggest knowledge and the biggest offer for nautical sports in Portugal. It works with the continuous support and training from all the represented brands, and also instruction/classes for the several disciplines that we offer to our clients through partnerships with Clube Nautico do Zezere (www.clubenauticozezere.com) and Wake Villa Wakeboard School (www.wakevilla.com).
