The cable parks are closed but who cares
The cableparks in Europe are closed, the lakes are filled with ice and the obstacles have been towed to the sides of the lake.
So what does our team do? Right, their kickin’ it on the other side of the globe!
WHAT HAPPENED?
Just like every year, the new season is kicked of by everyone in Asia and this year was no exception. The entire Jobe crew went ahead and headed out to Asia and in particular: Thailand! The reason is pretty easy; Plastic Playground went down.
John Dreiling, Sam de Haan, Dominik Gührs, Matty Muncey, Maxine Sapulette and Ariano Blanik went head to head with the world’s best boarders. The level of riding was insane and some bizar stuff went down, with Ariano dropping hammer, like a one footer Mexican roll!
But it’s not all competition, Ian Curry-Lindahl joined the Handle Magazine crew to a trip to Argentina. And went to Thailand after Plastics Playground was over, again with The Handle Magazine crew. But he’s not the only one traveling around the globe!
Matty Muncey went over to Israel to do some wakeboarding and surfing.
Dominik Gührs is living the life in Bali! Surfing some of the best waves in the world at Sanur, near Uluwatu.
Sam is enjoying Thailand so much that he’s even staying there for another month or 2 and went to Turkey to film his legendary edit filmed by our own Ian-Curry-Lindahl.
And the rest headed out home again (it can’t be all vacation right)?
There are still some trips coming up for some of the guys and girls but with the season getting ready to kick of again, there’s a big chance you’ll see some of them riding the best cableparks in Europe again!
