Wakeskating is the perfect blend between wakeboarding and skateboarding. Wakeskaters are similar to wakeboards, but they use wood or composite surfaces and are usually smaller in size. Just like an old-school skateboard, when you wakeskate you aren't attached to your board with bindings or boots. Wakeskate rides share a lot of similarities with wakeboards.
As of now Jobe makes two great wakeskates the
Exceed and the
Savage!
Our wakeskates each feature a continuous rocker line. If you're not familiar with continuous rockers, they have a smooth, fluid, curved shape. Continuous rockers provide fast, smooth rides and make it easier to make quick turns. On a continuous rocker wakeskate you can produce a lot of speed. This speed will push you farther out into the flats after popping off the wake. Continuous-rocker wakeskates are awesome for carving, especially on butter.
Both Jobe wakeskates also feature maple plywood laminate construction for a more skateboard type of feel on the water.
Our wakeskates also feature a soft and fully padded concave EVA top deck that provides grip, excellent floatation and can also be easy on the ankles and feet.
