A little how-to-buy a SUP checklist
1 may 2016
We choose to make every Jobemoment count. But how to choose between the good stuff: an Aero or Bamboo SUP? Their performance is equal, their style and shape isn’t.
So we’ve made a little SUP-checklist for you.
o
Weight: Do you need to travel? Choose an inflatable board. Easy to transport and store.
o
Wide: The wider the board, the more stable it is on the water.
o
Short: How shorter the board, how maneuverable.
o
Long: How longer the board, how faster you go. Plus it has more tracking.
o
Deck pads: An extra deck pad is added at the foot of the SUP for more grip while surfing.
o
Bag storage: Do you want to take one (or more) bags with you? Choose a SUP with bungee cords.
o
Style: The only thing you just have to feel. Do you prefer a certain color or material? If we may say, they both have the looks. And if you don’t feel like you find the one? Customize your own SUP.
o
Use: You can use the SUP wherever you want to go. However, you can choose a board that matches your favorite. Looking for a nice family-paddling board (AERO SUP 9.4), a yoga-board (BAMBOO SUP 10.6 & AERO YOGA SUP 10.6), a touring and racing-board (BAMBOO SUP 12.6 & AERO SUP 12.6) or a board to face the waves (BAMBOO SUP 9.4)? Don’t want such a specialized board? Choose one of our allrounders (AERO SUP 10.6). For a full overview, check our SUPS.
o
Extra: Our inflatable SUPS come in an easy to carry waterproof backpack, including our aluminum paddle, a high pressure pump, a leash and a repair kit. And the SUP itself of course. So easy if you want to grab a drink after a lightweight session.
